Kaia's 22nd Week - Daddy's home on paternity leave

Hi loyal blog fans -

I am taking over blogging from Jyothi for most of the summer, as I am home on paternity leave, and she's back at work.

This week Kaia is doing a lot of sitting up, and she's lately been trying to eat the nose or cheeks of anyone who gets within nibbling distance (see photo in slide show).

We celebrated the 4th of July with Jyothi's cousins in the South Bay, and Grandma Jana and Tia devora's birthday (virtually). We spent some fun times with Archie Aunty who was visiting from NY (although she still roots for the Red Sox).

Jyothi's return to work has been going pretty well, and even though she misses us at home, she's getting used to being back in the hospital. She says it helps that we've been able to visit her for dinner before her overnight shifts!
