November 2009: Thanksgiving in Oregon

Photos from our recent trip to Oregon for Thanksgiving. Special thanks to Adhi & Robyn who helped us out with some emergency babysitting the day before our flight when we made an unanticipated trip to labor & delivery...Thankfully, everything turned out fine and we were able to make our flight the next day.

Thanksgiving was fun - we ate lots of yummy food and spent good time with family. We also were able to celebrate devora & Jesse's engagement! Kaia got to visit with horses, donkeys and sheep at the Leaping Lamb Farm.

In other news, we are just under 2 weeks away from baby #2's due date...but at least one of us wouldn't mind if he shows up a little early...stay tuned for updates!

And, we're back! November 2009

The arrival of our new camera sparked much excitement in the Marbin household! Pictures from the past few weeks include a father/daughter trip to the Habitot Museum while mama was working, some time at Adhi & Robyn's house, a walk around Stowe Lake, and building baby brother's dresser. Kaia was incredibly helpful in building the dresser - she sorted the little pieces into piles, and even helped put screws into the correct holes so Seth could screw them in. Meanwhile baby brother is getting bigger and bigger (much like his mama's ankles) and kicking to remind us he's on his way in about 6 weeks!
